Updating product images carried by Skin Beauty, an online beauty store shipping domestic and international. The goal of this project is ultimately to bring more customers to the business, through increasing web performance and effectiveness in search engine optimization.
Gathering assets
Product images from official websites are edited to match Skin Beauty’s website visual guideline.
Some products are photographed for even better qualities.
To stand out amongst competitors, the approach taken was by creating a unique brand identity in each product line while still keeping familiarity with Skin Beauty’s brand image. The following is an example of design exploration of product images.
For each brand, research was done about the brand personality, then selected keywords were chosen to best describe the brand, which were used to guide the design aesthetics.
